The Mental Health Support Group has been established to provide practical tools, safe spaces, and a robust network of support for EMAlumni. This initiative is about turning understanding into action, ensuring that those in the field of human rights are equipped with the resources needed to thrive personally and professionally.

We aim to

  • Reduce Stigma: Create spaces for dialogue to “destigmatise” issues related to mental health, and to acknowledge its profound impact on our well-being.
  • Build Resilience: Offer workshops, resources, and tools to help alumni manage stress, prevent burnout, and foster collective resilience.
  • Provide Support: Developing peer-to-peer networks and expert-led sessions to create a safety net for human rights professionals.
  • Advocate: Campaign for human rights and related organisations to prioritise mental health as a core issue.
