The Department of Legal Studies at the Central European University (CEU) invites applications for a colleague with an active research agenda in human rights and a strong track record, or potential, in research and teaching. The Department values interdisciplinary research and practical experience.
Applications are particularly welcomed from candidates with expertise and experience in the regional human rights systems in the Americas or in Africa, and/or human and fundamental rights in the global South. Additional expertise in one or more of the following areas is an asset: human rights advocacy and litigation; (empirical) research methods in human rights, human rights theory and critical approaches, and/or environmental and climate justice.
