Hello everyone,
I am Lea, graduated from EMA in 2021 and would like to become a board member. I am currently doing my PhD in Sociology at the University of Hamburg, Germany. I am researching the climate transition in Germany with a focus on the impact of climate litigation and climate protests.
With my board membership, I would be very happy to implement exciting projects of the EMAlumni association, to further develop the organization together and to activate more EMA alumni. Through my work at different CSOs, I have learned campaigning and advocacy skills which I would like to use for this position. Furthermore, I am participating in the EMA Climate Justice Campaign which could be connected to the EMAlumni Association even more closely.
I would be very happy to make the association better known, to do advocacy work and to support and further network the community through exciting projects, so that a vibrant EMA community is created - just as it was in Venice.
