Hello there!
I'm thrilled to introduce myself as a recent graduate of the European Masters in Human Rights and Democratisation. My time in Venice was unforgettable, from the lively debates on human rights and democracy to the spritz!
Now that I live in Athens, I am always looking to connect with other EMA alumni and meet new masterinis as they arrive. I feel a real connection with anyone who graduated or is graduating and I'm eager to continue building this network as a member of the Board.
My motivation for running for the Board is fueled by my belief in the power of the EMA community and our shared commitment to making a positive impact in the world. With my unique set of skills and experiences, I believe that I can make a valuable contribution to the Association's mission.
I have worked in Athens and Brussels, which has provided me with a solid foundation in human rights and democracy issues both in institutions and NGOs. I am particularly interested in refugee rights and involved in several advocacy projects in Greece. Furthermore, my current role as a communications and fundraising officer for a legal NGO in Greece has equipped me with practical skills in communication strategies, social media management, and fundraising.
Looking towards the future, I see enormous potential for the EMAlumni Association to become an even more dynamic and engaged community, where people are proud to be a part of. By providing opportunities for alumni to collaborate, share knowledge and ideas, and receive assistance with job applications and career preparation, I am convinced that the EMA community can be stronger than ever before!
I am excited about the prospect of contributing to the Association's growth and development as a member of the Board.
